Job duties
- Stock and inventory products
- Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the retail location
- Provide general customer service and assistance to guests
- Process sales transactions
- Greet and assist customers while anticipating their needs
- Ensure product is stocked to appropriate levels and replenish and arrange items as needed to maintain the appearance
- Operate the register, handle cash, and process credit card transactions
- Handle cash handling, safe verifications, and preparing deposits
- Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward guests, customers, clients, and co-workers
- Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures
- Ensure security of company assets
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by the manager

What You’ll Be Doing
- Welcoming guests with a smile and providing outstanding customer service in our marina and resort retail stores
- Operating the cash register and processing cash, credit card, and mobile payments accurately
- Stocking shelves, organising displays, and keeping the store clean and inviting
- Helping guests find souvenirs, snacks, sunscreen, boating supplies, and Lake Powell essentials
- Answering questions about products, prices, and local attractions
- Assisting with inventory counts and end-of-shift cash reconciliation
- Working as part of an international team of students and seasonal staff

Who We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational to good English – you’ll be talking with guests all day
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light stock
- Availability for the full Summer to Fall season, including weekends and holidays
- No previous experience required – full training is provided
