Cleaning Services Worker - Boat Rentals
General information
Job duties
- Ensure a clean and pleasant atmosphere of the boat dock by removing trash and debris from the dock and cleaning all public areas.
- Ensure all beds are made, all surfaces dusted, trash removed, carpets vacuumed, coolers and barbecue grills cleaned, linens changed, and that bathroom sinks, tubs, and toilets are cleaned.
- Measure anchor lines and ensure all common items used are restocked and any damaged or missing items are replaced.
- Ensure glass doors and insides of windows are clean and do not have smears on them.
- May be required to deep clean boats using a ladder to clean walls and ceilings.
- May assist with pumping out waste and water tanks.
- Other duties as assigned.

We’re looking for energetic university students to join our Boat Rentals Cleaning Services team. This is a hands-on, active role at a busy marina where no two days look the same, and the views from your workplace are absolutely unbeatable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Cleaning and preparing houseboats, powerboats and personal watercraft between rentals
- Washing decks, vacuuming interiors, sanitizing kitchens, bathrooms and sleeping areas
- Restocking supplies and linens so guests step onto a spotless boat
- Removing trash and helping keep the docks and marina areas tidy
- Reporting maintenance issues or damage to supervisors
- Working as part of an international team to meet daily turnaround deadlines

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English skills
- Good physical condition – the role involves bending, lifting, and working outdoors in warm desert temperatures
- Reliability, attention to detail and a positive team attitude
- Availability for the full Summer to Fall season, including weekends and holidays
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced marina environment
