Job duties
- Stock all bar supplies at the beginning and end of shifts such as beer, liquor, wine, kegs, glassware, fruit, roll-up, ice, juices, paper supplies, etc. in accordance with par levels.
- Maintain adequate supplies of items listed above for the duration of your shift.
- Slice and pit fruit used to garnish drinks.
- Wash and polish glassware/silverware.
- Stock refrigerating units with liquor, wines, beer or replace empty beer kegs.
- Organize and clean liquor, wine and beer storage areas.
- Sweep, mop and/or vacuum behind the bar and the area at the beginning and end of your shift, also during shift as needed or requested.
- Thoroughly clean behind the bar, bar tops and bar storage areas at the end of your shift.
- Empty and clean bar dishwasher at the close of each shift.
- Routinely take out trash and full dish bins.
- Clean up spilled food, drink or broken dishes.
- Responsible for the overall cleanliness of the bar/lounge at all times.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Bar Back, you are the backbone of the bar. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Stocking and restocking beer, wine, spirits, mixers, glassware, ice, and garnishes
- Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and ready for the next rush
- Supporting bartenders during busy service so drinks go out fast
- Washing and polishing glassware, changing kegs, and hauling supplies from storage
- Clearing and wiping down bar tops, taking out trash, and assisting with opening and closing duties
- Helping create a friendly, welcoming vibe for guests from all over the world

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
- Conversational English and a positive, guest-friendly attitude
- Physical stamina – you will be on your feet, lifting cases and kegs, and moving quickly
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong teamwork skills
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the busy season
- Previous bar, restaurant, or hotel experience is a plus but not required – training is provided
