The Lodge at Leathem Smith in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin is looking for energetic university students to join its ice cream and coffee shop team as Ice Cream & Coffee Shop Servers.
This is the kind of job where your “office” is filled with the smell of fresh coffee, the sound of the ice cream freezer opening and the happy chatter of holiday guests. If you love people, good vibes and the idea of working right next to a beautiful waterfront resort and marina, this position is made for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Greeting guests with a friendly smile and helping them choose from a delicious menu of ice cream flavors, sundaes, shakes and desserts
- Preparing and serving espresso-based drinks, brewed coffee, iced coffees, teas and cold beverages
- Taking orders, operating the cash register and handling card and cash payments accurately
- Keeping the counter, seating area, equipment and display cases clean, stocked and sparkling
- Restocking cups, syrups, toppings and supplies throughout your shift
- Working as part of a small, supportive team to keep service quick and guests happy

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA (J-1) program
- Conversational English and confidence talking to customers
- A positive, outgoing personality and a genuine smile
- Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for the duration of a shift and work at a fast pace during busy periods
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings and holidays — that’s when the fun happens!
- No previous barista experience required — full training is provided
