The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation operates hospitality, retail and entertainment venues in the small town of Medora, North Dakota, less than 50 miles from Dickinson. Positions include front desk representative, host/cashier, busser, kitchen crew, retail sales and ticketing roles, and theatre operations staff. Housing owned or arranged by the employer is guaranteed for everyone hired, though you may also find your own, and a second job is likely to be available.

General information
Job duties
- Keeps the dining room clean, including vacuuming, cleaning and refilling table condiments, polishing glasses and silverware, prepping bread, prepping butter, filling the ice container and pop machine with ice, keeping linens organized on the shelf, and preparing clean rags with fresh sanitizer.
- Assists with bussing and resetting tables when needed.
- Refills water glasses, butter, and sugar on tables.
- Assists guests when needed.
- Tears down all dinner tables and sets them for the next meal.
- Knows the different table settings for each meal.
- Rolls silverware and folds napkins.
- Greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus.
- Assigns servers to sections and alerts servers when a new table has arrived.
- Checks if reservations have been set up for a meal and keeps a waiting list.
- Collects payment and maintains an accurate till.
- Cleans the front area, including vacuuming, cleaning door windows, emptying trash, cleaning menus, dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
- Answers guest questions and assists with managing complaints and resolving issues guests may have.
- Participates in workplace safety training sessions.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled university student, age 18–25, eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational to good English communication skills
- Positive attitude, friendly personality and a genuine smile
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and comfort handling cash and card payments
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work weekends and holidays
- Availability for the full Summer to Fall season
