What You’ll Be Doing

As a Marina Services Dockhand – Boat Rentals (Early Shift), your office is the dock. Your day-to-day includes:

• Welcoming guests, checking in and out rental boats, kayaks, paddleboards and personal watercraft
• Safely docking, mooring, fueling and moving boats around the marina
• Cleaning and inspecting vessels between rentals, reporting any damage
• Loading and unloading gear, life jackets and supplies for guests
• Giving friendly safety briefings and basic operating instructions
• Keeping docks tidy, organized and safe for everyone

The early shift means you catch the sunrise over the lake — and finish with plenty of daylight left to explore.

• Pay: $14.70 per hour

• Hours: approx. 32 hours per week (extra hours often available in peak season)
• Season: Summer to Fall

What You Need

• University student aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational English and a genuinely friendly attitude
• Comfortable working outdoors in hot, sunny desert conditions
• Physically fit – you’ll be lifting, bending and standing for most of your shift
• Comfortable around water; basic swimming ability
• Reliable, punctual and happy to start early
• Team player who enjoys meeting new people every day
