What You’ll Be Doing

As part of the boat rental team, you’ll be the first friendly face guests meet before their adventure on the lake. Your day-to-day duties include:

• Welcoming guests, processing boat rental reservations and completing rental paperwork
• Giving safety orientations and boat operation instructions to renters (full training provided – no experience needed)
• Demonstrating how to operate powerboats, kayaks, paddleboards and other watercraft
• Assisting with docking, fueling, launching and returning boats
• Performing basic cleaning and light maintenance checks on the rental fleet
• Answering questions about the lake, routes, weather and local attractions
• Keeping the docks and marina areas safe, tidy and guest-ready

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 with valid Work & Travel USA J-1 sponsorship
• Conversational to good English – you’ll be explaining safety instructions to guests
• Comfortable around water; swimming ability is strongly preferred
• Outgoing, energetic and genuinely friendly personality
• Willingness to work outdoors in hot desert weather, including weekends and holidays
• Reliable, safety-minded and ready to work as part of a team
• Availability from summer through fall (longer stays are a plus)
