Imagine finishing your shift and walking straight down to a crystal-clear lake framed by the Adirondack Mountains. That’s daily life at The Lodge at Schroon Lake, a beautifully restored lakeside resort operated by Olympia Companies in the heart of New York State’s most spectacular wilderness region. We’re hiring energetic Bartenders for the Summer to Fall season — and yes, you’ll be there for the legendary Adirondack autumn foliage.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Preparing and serving classic cocktails, craft beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks for resort guests
- Greeting guests warmly, taking orders and delivering genuinely friendly service
- Keeping the bar area clean, stocked and beautifully presented
- Handling cash and card payments accurately using our POS system
- Restocking bottles, garnishes, glassware and ice throughout your shift
- Checking IDs and following all New York State responsible-service laws
- Working closely with servers, kitchen staff and management to keep service smooth
No previous bartending experience? Don’t worry — full training is provided. What matters most is your smile, your energy and your willingness to learn fast.

What You’ll Earn

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 on a valid Work & Travel USA J-1 visa
- Minimum age of 18 as required for serving alcohol in New York State
- Good conversational English — you’ll be talking with guests all shift
- Outgoing, reliable and comfortable on your feet in a fast-paced environment
- Team player attitude and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays
- Neat, professional appearance and a positive attitude
