The Lodge at Schroon Lake, operated by Olympia Companies, is looking for energetic Bussers to join their Work & Travel USA team for the Summer to Fall season.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Busser, you are the heartbeat of the dining room. You’ll keep the restaurant running smoothly and guests smiling, all while sharpening your English and hospitality skills.

• Clearing, cleaning, and resetting tables quickly and efficiently between guests
• Supporting servers with drink refills, bread service, and delivering food to tables
• Setting up the dining room before service – polishing glassware, folding napkins, arranging place settings
• Restocking service stations with plates, silverware, glassware, and linens
• Keeping the dining area, host stand, and service areas spotless and welcoming
• Communicating with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
• Assisting with special events, weddings, and banquets hosted at the Lodge

Your Pay & Benefits

• $15.50 per hour – a strong, reliable base wage
• Tips included! Bussers share in the tip pool, meaningfully boosting your weekly earnings
• 35 hours per week guaranteed, with the possibility of extra hours during busy periods

What We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel USA visa
• Conversational English – enough to communicate confidently with guests and teammates
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift trays throughout a busy shift
• Team players who can stay calm and friendly when the dining room is full
• Availability for the full Summer to Fall season, including weekends and holidays
• No previous experience required – full training is provided!
