Imagine spending your summer in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains, surrounded by crystal-clear lakes, endless hiking trails and one of the most scenic corners of New York State. Olympia Companies – The Lodge at Schroon Lake is looking for energetic international students to join its kitchen team as Dishwashers for the summer-to-fall season.

The Lodge at Schroon Lake is a newly reimagined lakeside resort known for its warm hospitality, excellent food and outdoor-adventure spirit. As part of the back-of-house team, you’ll be at the heart of the operation – keeping the kitchen running smoothly while learning how a real American resort works from the inside.

Your Responsibilities

• Washing dishes, glassware, silverware, pots and pans using commercial dishwashing machines
• Keeping the dish area, kitchen floors and work stations clean, organized and safe
• Sorting and storing clean dishes and kitchen equipment in their proper places
• Taking out trash, breaking down boxes and assisting with recycling
• Helping the culinary team with basic food prep or stocking when needed
• Following health, safety and sanitation standards at all times

Requirements

• University student aged 18–25 eligible for the Work & Travel USA program
• Basic to intermediate conversational English
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20–25 kg
• Reliable, punctual, hard-working and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Positive team-player attitude and willingness to learn
• Availability for the full summer-to-fall season, including weekends and holidays
