Imagine waking up to misty mountain views, crystal-clear lake water and the fresh pine scent of the Adirondacks – then heading to work at one of Upstate New York’s most beautiful boutique resorts. The Lodge at Schroon Lake, part of the respected Olympia Companies hospitality group, is looking for energetic international students to join its housekeeping team as Room Attendants for the Summer to Fall season.
This is your chance to earn great money, build real hospitality experience with an American employer, and spend your free time hiking, kayaking and exploring one of the most spectacular regions in the United States.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Room Attendant, you are the reason guests fall in love with The Lodge. Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning and refreshing guest rooms, suites and cabins to the Lodge’s high standards
- Changing bed linens, making beds and replacing towels and amenities
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and sanitizing bathrooms and living areas
- Restocking your housekeeping cart and keeping supply areas tidy
- Reporting maintenance issues or lost-and-found items to your supervisor
- Greeting guests warmly and helping with simple requests
- Supporting your teammates in public areas and laundry when needed

Pay & Benefits
- $18.00 per hour – one of the strongest housekeeping rates in the program
- Tips included – guests regularly leave gratuities for great service
- 40 guaranteed hours per week, with possible overtime during peak weeks

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 with a valid J-1 Work & Travel visa
- Conversational English and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Physically fit – the role involves standing, bending and lifting throughout your shift
- Attention to detail and pride in a job well done
- Reliable, punctual and ready to work weekends and holidays
- Team player with a positive, can-do mindset
- Available for the full Summer to Fall period
