About the Position
As a Restaurant Kitchen Worker, you’ll be part of a fast-moving, friendly kitchen crew that keeps hungry locals, hikers, and Yellowstone-bound tourists happy all season long. No prior professional cooking experience? No problem — the team will train you from day one.
- Prepare and stretch pizza dough, portion toppings, and build pizzas to order
- Assist with salads, appetizers, sandwiches, and daily prep work
- Operate pizza ovens and standard kitchen equipment safely
- Keep workstations, utensils, and the kitchen clean and organized
- Receive and store deliveries, monitor stock levels
- Support the team during busy dinner rushes with a positive attitude
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards
Pay & Working Conditions
- Hourly wage: $15.00 per hour
- Hours: approximately 40 hours per week
- Tips: Yes — kitchen staff share in tips, boosting your weekly earnings
- Season: Summer through Fall — one of the longest and most profitable Work & Travel periods available

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA program
- Conversational English (enough to communicate with the kitchen team)
- Reliable, punctual, and ready to work as part of a team
- Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 15–20 kg
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn — experience is welcome but not required
- Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
