About the Position: Laundry Attendant
As a Laundry Attendant, you are an essential part of the lodge’s behind-the-scenes team, making sure every guest enjoys fresh, spotless linens after a day of hiking, rafting and wildlife spotting. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Sorting, washing, drying and folding bed linens, towels and table linens
- Operating commercial washers, dryers and pressing equipment safely
- Inspecting items for stains or damage and treating or reporting them
- Stocking and organising linen closets and delivering clean linen to housekeeping
- Keeping the laundry area clean, tidy and well-organised
- Following all health, safety and chemical-handling procedures
- Supporting your teammates in housekeeping during busy periods

What We’re Looking For
- University students aged 18–25 eligible for the J-1 Work & Travel USA programme
- Basic to intermediate English communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented – quality matters here
- Comfortable with physical work: standing, bending and lifting linen for most of the shift
- A positive, team-first attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
- Ready to live in a remote wilderness location and embrace the outdoors
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
