Imagine finishing your shift, stepping outside, and seeing snow-capped peaks glowing pink in the late evening light. That’s an ordinary Tuesday at LOGE Glacier in Essex, Montana – an adventure-inspired lodge tucked between the Flathead National Forest and the legendary Glacier National Park. We’re looking for energetic Work & Travel USA students to join our kitchen crew as Line Cooks from summer through fall.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Line Cook, you’re the engine of our kitchen. Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing and cooking menu items to order – grill, sauté, fry and plating stations
• Prepping ingredients: chopping, portioning, marinating and stocking your station
• Following recipes and presentation standards so every plate leaves the pass looking great
• Keeping your station clean, organized and compliant with health and food safety rules
• Receiving deliveries, rotating stock and helping minimize waste
• Communicating clearly with servers and teammates during busy service

• Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Hours: approximately 35 hours per week
• Season: Summer to Fall
• Tips: Not included – your strong hourly rate is guaranteed

Who We’re Looking For

• University students aged 18–25 on the Work & Travel USA program
• Conversational English and good communication skills
• Some kitchen or food-prep experience is a big plus (home cooking counts – tell us about it!)
• Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 15–20 kg and work in a hot, fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, hygienic and a genuine team player
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Comfortable living in a remote, small mountain town
